I like videogames. Particularly strategy games. I've played videogames all throughout my life. In my childhood I played Age of Empires, which was probably considered one of the pinnacles of games at the time. The others that come to mind would be Command and Conquer, which I also played, and Civilization, which I was certainly too young to understand the intricacies related. Regardless, I've played videogames enough to understand the lure and participates during the growth of E-sports.

In the realm of E-sports, not all games are considered E-sports simply because there is no competition involved. Not all games are considered E-sports, but I've certainly gained many skills through the many strategy games I've played in my childhood. I've delved initially into Defense of the Ancients at 2008 and stopped playing a couple years after because I couldn't handle the matchmaking system. It was terrible. I then started playing StarCraft 2 and League of Legends in 2010. I was decently ranked in StarCraft 2, platinum, but soon decided to focus primarily on League of Legends because I didn't think I'd be able to reach the higher tiers. I still play League of Legends to this day.

I've played each of the major games that comprise of the most coverage of E-sports: DotA, LoL, and SC2. I'm fairly knowledgeable in regards to these and follow the competitive streams for LoL and occasionally SC2. I've had some experience in tournament play for LoL.

Aside from all this, I'm just an average guy focusing on his studies in pursuit of a degree towards a career in pharmaceuticals.
